Students, citizens and university employees alike - get ready for an exciting opportunity to engage with the future of European education and democracy! In mid-2025, the EU will release a draft for the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), including budget plans for Erasmus+. During this panel event, we will focus on key topics like EU priorities, democracy, and their impact on student mobility. 

European universities play a pivotal role in advancing research, teaching, and innovation - driving the EUs goals of ‘Competitiveness, Preparedness, and Readiness.’ Strengthening democratic values is at the heart of these efforts and students are not just the target group of these efforts, they are active participants in shaping the future of Europe. European University Alliances, like EUPeace, are leading the charge, ensuring that the next generation of European citizens grows with a strong, democratic self-identity. Join us in this mission to empower students and shape Europe’s future!

Together with the Hessian Minister for Science and Research, Art and Culture; the Director of the National Agency for Erasmus+ University Cooperation (NA DAAD), the Marburg University Deputy President and Vice President for University Culture and Quality; the Director of the Marburg Creativity and Innovation Hub (CIMHub) and representatives of the EUPeace student bodies and many more representatives from politics and universities, we will discuss these recent developments and the role Alliances play in shaping our European society of tomorrow.
