The Teaching Staff Academy has launched its call for participation to gather workshops for the 2025 training week

We are happy to announce that the second edition of the training week of the Teaching Staff Academy will be held in person, from 8-10 July at the Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid, Spain. 

Topic: European Higher Education in the Age of AI

The different topic can cover (but are not limited to):

  • Democratisation and accessibility of AI: pedagogical construction or deconstruction
  • AI: educational limitations and potentialities
  • Digital competencies and learning among teachers and students
  • Ethical strategies in the use of AI

Format:

  • 2h workshop
  • Exchange of best practices
  • We are open to different kinds of contribution — within a broadly defined “workshop” remit — but we want to particularly encourage active and practically oriented exchange between participants.
  • Workshops can involve more than 1 speaker

Target audience

  • Teachers from the Alliance
  • Members of the other EUPeace work packages, especially (but not limited to) WP3 and WP5
  • Administrative staff

Who can apply?

  • Contributors/participants: UMR, UNICAL, UWB, JLU, UNILIM, COMILLAS, SUM, CU, UNSA, all associated and supporting partners
  • Teachers, educational researchers, and experts in higher education pedagogy and didactics who are willing to impart and share best practices in the inclusive and sustainable use of AI in higher education teaching.

How to apply?

To apply, please send your subject to by the application deadline.

Overall selection criteria:

  • Relevance of the topic
  • Degree of interactive “added value” from the proposed workshop
  • Representative distribution of the training offers between the Alliance partners

Selection Process:

  • The TSA working group will be selecting the proposals.

Call deadlines:

  • Opening: 24 March 2025
  • Deadline: 12 May 2025
