06.12.2024 Creating synergies between the EUPeace University Libraries
Next to connecting students and researchers, the EUPeace Alliance also brings University Libraries together. While representatives of the EUPeace University Libraries regularly meet in online meetings in order to join forces with regard to research infrastructures in the Alliance, a first in-person meeting of the EUPeace University Libraries took place on October 8 at the Marburg University Library. Organized as an additional event to the “Open Science and Open Research Infrastructures” conference, the gathering was hosted by Marburg University Library to provide an opportunity for EUPeace University Library colleagues to connect and exchange insights face-to-face. This meeting followed an earlier online session of the group.
Attendees were welcomed by the library’s vice director, Mrs. Stegerhoff-Raab, and enjoyed a guided tour of the library. They also had the chance to discuss topics with Marburg colleagues, focusing on open access and information literacy instruction.
