The project "Gender in Higher Education in Times of Uncertainty", funded by the second call of the EUPeace Fund, has started its implementation.

On 27-30 August, the joint team of researchers from the EUPeace partner universities (University of Calabria, Italy, Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany and Pontifical University of Comillas, Spain) presented the first results of their research at the symposium "Mentoring of Female Academics and Leaders - Organisational Learning in Times of Multiple Crisis?".

The symposium was hosted by the Gender and Organisation Networks within the European Conference on Educational Research (ECER). The theme of this year's conference, "Education in an Age of Uncertainty: Memory and Hope for the Future", brought together over 2200 participants from all over the world at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia.

The participation of scholars Giovanna Vingelli (Università della Calabria), Evhenia Kolomiyets-Ludwig (Comillas Pontifical University), Sarah Wieners and Eva Bulgrin (Philipps-Universität Marburg) and the presentation of their reports on "Mentoring Programmes in Italian Universities. Transformative practices and resistances", "Mentoring women in higher education in times of global conflict", "Mentoring female academics in times of uncertainties: the case of the Covid pandemic" and "How do female students in Green Tec Studies in Germany navigate and enact uncertainty?" were made possible thanks to the funding of the EUPeace project within its second call for proposals. The participation of the discussant Dr Julia Elven (Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany) was supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
