18.09.2023 EUPeace representatives take part at the 2nd European University Alliances Forum in Barcelona

Promoted by the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the second edition of the Forum of European University Alliances took place in Barcelona, Spain on the 14th and 15th of September.

For this occasion, delegates from numerous university alliances, the European Commission, Member States and students came together. The Forum provided a platform for dialogue and the exchange of ideas on critical issues affecting European University Alliances.

Sandy Halliday and Arturo Varona Bosque represented the EUPeace Alliance, taking part in parallel sessions, networking with other Alliance representatives and getting to know the supporting environment around the European University Alliances.

A special chance for contribution was given to EUPeace within the EACEA Session “Working together and providing support – key to success”. Here, Sandy and Arturo were part of the panel to directly discuss needs and expectations within the grant agreement and administrative grant execution process with Walter Zampieri and María Luisa Garcia Minguez, Head and Deputy Head of Unit for European Higher Education, European Commission, Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
