10.04.2025 EUPeace Student Club's first event in cooperation with International Youth Club

Looking back to 28 February 2025 when the Çukurova EUPeace Student Club held its first event in cooperation with the International Youth Club, which operates within Çukurova University. The aim of the event was to inform the participants about EUPeace, but mainly to create an event according to the themes of Peace, Justice and especially Inclusive Societies. 82 people participated in the event.

The event was also structured to promote intercultural exchange and networking. Participants were seated at ten tables, intentionally with students who did not know each other, to facilitate meaningful interactions and cultural exchange.
After an introduction to EUPeace as a project and as a student club, participants were informed about EUPeace opportunities such as project calls, networking opportunities, accredited courses and online/real-time mobility opportunities. The International Youth Club also presented their club.

Cooperation and networking between student initiatives are particularly important to EUPeace, as this is the foundation for the development of ideas and contacts for Student Challenges. This call is a core initiative of the EUPeace Alliance, designed to engage students by collaborating with local organisations, student associations and clubs. By providing additional resources, the initiative encourages the development of projects that embody the values of Peace, Justice, and Inclusive Societies.
