03.07.2023 European Commission grants ERASMUS+ funding to European University for Peace, Justice, and Inclusive Societies
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ initiative "European Universities - Development of new deep institutional transnational cooperation", the funding of seven new European university alliances was officially announced on July 3rd, 2023.
The "European University for Peace, Justice, and Inclusive Societies" (EUPeace), initiated under the leadership of Philipps-Universität Marburg, is among these seven new alliances with a funding amount of almost 14.4M€ for the initial funding period of four years.
"Our alliance is characterized by a particular sensitivity to the challenges of peace, justice, and inclusive societies, stemming from each partner's national context and institutional development. Together as EUPeace, we have already made a tremendous achievement of growing together and learning from each other on our way to this funding, and we can't wait to launch our work as a European higher education institution now officially funded."
