18.02.2025 EUPeace New Year´s reception at Marburg University

On Wednesday 29 January 2025, Marburg University organised its first EUPeace New Year’s Reception in a cosy atmosphere in the foyer of the Executive Board of the University. The Chair of the Governing Board of EUPeace, Prof. Dr. Evelyn Korn, Deputy President of Marburg University, welcomed all participants, including two EUPeace guests from the University of Sarajevo and from Çukurova University who were visiting for the Winter School on the internationalisation of teacher education and for the meeting of the Education Board of the Alliance taking place in Germany in the same week.

The Marburg EUPeace team toasted the new year together and reviewed the past year. The achievements and successes of the Alliance were celebrated and a look was taken at plans and goals for the coming year.

Contributors from across the Alliance, lecturers, researchers, administrative staff, representatives of Marburg University in the various work packages and bodies of the Alliance, including Senate members, the EUPeace Department Delegates in Marburg, the team of the Coordination Office, colleagues from the International Office and other administrative units, from IT to academic affairs, and inclusion and anti-discrimination, were given the opportunity to network and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere and start the new year 2025 with inspiring conversations.
