12.06.2024 Representatives of University of Limoges visit Marburg University

This June, two delegations consisting of researchers, administrative personnel and students from University of Limoges visited Marburg University.  

During the first visit, Prof. Laurent Billonnet and Prof. Virginie Pallier from the National Engineering School, University of Limoges (ENSIL-ENSCI) discussed possibilities of cooperation with Prof. Peter Chifflard (UMR, Department of Geography) and Christoph Müller (JLU, Institute for Plant Ecology). 

The second visit offered the opportunity for many fruitful discussions with staff from EUPeace and the International Office of Marburg University. The group visited the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures and exchanged ideas on possible collaboration with the Institute of Romance Philology.

During both visits, we also discussed the current developments and different activities planned within the Research Hubs. We addressed in this regard the needs of doctoral candidates and early-career researchers in diverse disciplines, ranging from Engineering to Arts and Humanities, as well as the possibilities of developing innovative approaches to teaching on the basis of an enhanced research cooperation within EUPeace.
