08.04.2025 Tandem programme at Justus Liebig University Giessen open for students from all EUPeace partner universities

The Language Centre of JLU Giessen launched a credited online language tandem programme. The programme was primarily developed for students of the JLU Giessen but is now open to students of all EUPeace partner institutions.

The online tandem programme, in which students can earn 1 CP, consists of the following components:

• Introductory course on foreign language learning in online tandem (online, asynchronous)
• Independent tandem work, including logging and reflection in a portfolio (online or in person, synchronous)
• Counselling session after approximately four hours of tandem learning (online, synchronous)
• Participation in tandem-related events (online or in person)
• Completion of a tandem portfolio

The counselling sessions and all materials are available in English.
