19.09.2024 Visit of Chair of Governing Board and Secretary General in Limoges

The Chair of the Governing Board of EUPeace, Prof. Dr. Evelyn Korn, and the Secretary General of EUPeace, Alexandre Wipf, had the pleasure to visit the University of Limoges on 15-16 September. The visit offered the chance to exchange in depth with the President of the University, Professor Isabelle Klock-Fontanille, as well as the Vice-Presidents for International Strategy, for Research and the Student Vice-President. Together they went through the latest developments in the alliance and exchanged on ways to broaden the scope of our activities. They also delved into research opportunities and research cooperation with the deans of the different faculties, departments and research centers.

Another important part of the visit was dedicated to the topic of teacher education, as the University of Limoges is leading the work of the alliance in this area – the planning for the Alliance’s first Winter School in January 2025 is well underway. Finally, all participants, especially the representatives of the University of Limoges in the Senate of EUPeace spoke about the upcoming targets and meetings of the Alliance, including the first meeting of the Senate of EUPeace in Madrid at the end of September.
