What?

Internships are short-term work opportunities, part-time or full-time, for students during their academic years and can last from two to twelve months. Some degree programmes embed internships as a mandatory component in their curricula. Erasmus+ funding for internships, however, is not contingent on whether your internship is mandatory or not. An internship offers you the chance to gain practical experience in the job market, apply your academic expertise onto the “real world” and acquire practical and sector-specific skills. Interns are monitored and guided by experienced professionals or dedicated teachers throughout the internship period.

Where?

Internships can take place at a company, a research institute, a lab, an organisation or any other relevant work place that is related to your course of study and fulfills your university's internship requirements. Internships within the EUPeace alliance can be supported by Erasmus+ funding.

Funding

You might be eligible for Erasmus+ internship funding. Please reach out to the international office coordinators at your home institution.
