| 2017 | The European Universities Initiative is launched by the European Union to strengthen cooperation between European universities and improve the quality of higher education in Europe. |
| 2021 | EUPeace “European University for Peace, Justice, and Inclusive Societies” is founded |
| March 2022 | First signature of the EUPeace Mission Statement |
| November 2023 | First signature of the EUPeace Cooperation Agreement & Start of Funding by the European Universities Initiative for EUPeace |
| April 2024 | Creation of the EUPeace Research Hubs “Security and Conflict Transformation” and “Climate Science and Just Transition” |
| April 2024 | First joint meeting of EUPeace bodies in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina |
